MIAMI – The Universal Foundation for Better Living, Inc. and the Ashe Otaheite Foundation, Inc. have collaborated to welcome the Ashe Company, Jamaica’s vibrant theatrical arts and social development company.
Ashe is poised to bring the energy that transforms into a musical and Jamaican-style “Boonoonoonoos” cabaret showcase on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami, at show time: 7:00 p.m.
Jamaican Consul General in the Southeastern United States, Oliver Mair, will sponsor the Summer Art Showcase.
Tickets for the one night only event are now available at EVENTBRITE.
Ashe returns to the Sunshine State after a long absence and is ready to amaze and inspire what they hope will be an audience on a human scale.
According to Ashe Executive Director Conroy Wilson, the team that will perform is a dynamic and energetic new generation Ashe. “We believe that the musical offers great entertainment value and the combination with a Jamaican style cabaret could be described as a thrilling experience of Caribbean musical theater, dance and choral theater featuring two shows for the price of ‘one not to be missed. ”
The story of the showcase musical “DED LEFF” was written and directed by Michael Holgate with musical arrangements by Conroy Wilson.
This reimagined and revamped version promises to be a hit and will mesmerize and invigorate audiences, giving customers a belly full of laughter.
The special benefit performance is part of the Universal Foundation for a Better Life’s annual conference “Panorama of Truth” which takes place at the same location from Wednesday July 17 to Sunday July 21, 2019.
