MOSCOW, Idaho — March 25, 2022 — The University of Idaho Department of Theater Arts presents the new play “Just Bea” at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, April 1 and 2 and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 3 at the Pocket Playhouse, Shoup Hall, 1028 West Sixth St ., on the U of I campus. Admission is free for Island University students and $5 for the public. Tickets are available at the door and seating is limited. Doors open 30 minutes before the show.
Written by MFA candidate Bethany Paulsen from the University of Norfolk, Virginia, “Just Bea” is a fast, sweet, and often hilarious exploration of relationships, love, loss, and grief. growth. The play follows a young professional, Juliette, who escapes to her family cabin to resolve her relationship issues. His sanctuary is quickly invaded by the presence of an unexpected guest.
“Just Bea” is directed by James Napoleon Stone, an MFA candidate from the U of I in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The show will last approximately 45 minutes without intermission. Free parking is available on Sixth Street.
